Niagara Regional Police are investigating after defamatory posters were found in public areas across Thorold.
In late March, the posters were found taped to hydro poles and other locations, included an image and personal contact information of a victim, along with false and damaging claims.
The person behind the posters has not yet been identified, and police are continuing to investigate.
To protect the victim, authorities are not releasing further details. Anyone with information is urged to contact the NRP.
