A Welland man has been charged in connection to a human trafficking investigation by Niagara Regional Police.
In January, police began investigating the alleged trafficking of a woman throughout the Niagara Region, before 31-year-old Sanjay Ferguson was arrested last week.
Police say it’s believed he went by the alias Kevin Ontario, DJ KV, and Mr. Provincial. He’s now facing multiple charges including trafficking, advertising sexual services, and uttering death threats. Police believe there may be more victims, and are asking anyone with information to reach out.
