If the Glendale Avenue Bridge is part of your daily commute, you may need to find a new route today.
The St. Lawrence Seaway Management Corporation says the bridge is temporarily closed to vehicle and pedestrian traffic because of a mechanical issue.
A full assessment is currently underway to determine the scope of repairs, and crews will move forward with the necessary work as soon as possible.
Residents are encouraged to use the Bridge Status page to help plan their route, and follow SLSMC on Facebook for the latest updates.
